In this blog, there have already been several occasions in which we have offered you dozens of reasons to read (we all know the amount of benefits that reading has for us) but I don't think I have ever given you reasons to write.
I know that many of you, in addition to great reading fans, also dedicate write,… I am also among the latter and I want to share with you my reasons for writing. Although at first that writing that is done daily or weekly is not dedicated to the creation of a book, writing daily or at least very often, can bring us great advantages over those who do not have this habit. Next, I give you my reasons and I would like to know if you share any of these or if you have many more.
Write, write, write ...
Write so as not to drown, ...
Write can be as or more beneficial than going to therapy. Yes, I'm not kidding. Putting daily on a blank page those things that concern us, our day to day, what we consider we have to improve ourselves, etc. it can be a good therapy to "cope" with the less positive days we have ...
We all have worries and we all have bad days… Writing to avoid drowning, to "survive" those bad moments, is one of the main reasons why I would personally motivate a person to do it.
It helps us understand each other ...
How many times have we had a feeling or an internal sensation that we did not know how to glimpse at first? Writing, breaking down into words our emotions, our encounters, our stories we will achieve understand ourselves and to know why we think in one way and / or act in another.
To leave something that will remain when we are not ...
We, luckily or unfortunately (you never know), have an expiration date, like yogurts ... Jokes aside, write something, be it our thoughts, a fictional book, a story for our children or grandchildren, some letters for the future , etc., will survive us… Isn't that a nice way to leave a good message to the world?
What message would you leave in your writing if you knew that many people would read it? Would it be the type "Do good and don't look at whom" or on the contrary it would be something like "Live it's two days"?
To have our moment with ourselves
Lack of time and stress are two of the main daily problems that we must deal with. Finding time each day to write and relax will help us cope with that stress and daily burdens. In time, you will appreciate having that little time to yourself or yourself.
To remember…
In many people with early alzheimerz The task of «writing to remember» is recommended ... It is a daily exercise that helps them and forces them to remember moments both in the long and short term.
It is also good to remember both those mistakes and successes of our life. To avoid the first and improve the second, or not?
And you, what reasons do you have to write? What motivates you to do it?
I liked your article. I think I have two reasons for writing: to have fun and to have fun. I think those, too, may be good reasons, don't you think?
