Before we did them the same month that the registration period closed, and now we move forward a month or more so that you have time to introduce yourself to the one that best suits your literary style.

XIV Contest «The colloquium of the dogs» of short story and photography

The Cultural Association "The Colloquium of the dogs" jointly summons its short story and photography contest. The lemboth in this edition will be "The book". Participants may compete in both sections or do it individually in only one of them, abiding, in all cases, to the rules established in the bases.
- Literary modality and theme.
Short stories that adapt to the motto "The book." The originality and uniqueness of the works received will be valued. - Participants.
Writers with no age limit, of any nationality, with original works written in Spanish and not awarded in other competitions may attend this call. Authors who submit more than one work must independently and separately fulfill the formalities established in these bases for each of their works. - Extension.
The stories will have a minimum length of 3 pages and a maximum of 5 (in DIN A4 size), written in letter size 12 and Times New Roman type, with an interlinear spacing of 1,5 and margins of 2,5 cm. All pages will be duly numbered. - Presentation.
The works may be sent by email or post. - Jury.
The jury, made up of two members of the organizing Association and three people of recognized solvency in the field of literary criticism, the theme of the contest or members of any of the collaborating entities, will choose the finalist works. The prizes will be awarded in a public act to be announced in good time.

The Contest will be endowed with a First Prize valued at 400 euros, a Second Prize of 100 euros, as well as the publication of the winning works.
III Constancio Zamora Moreno Poetry Contest

- Language: Castilian.
- Anyone who wants to can participate with a poem not awarded in other contests, typed or computer written in a single column and on one side only.

- El theme will be about Women and Equal opportunities in our society. New writers and people with literary concerns residing in Spain may participate, as long as their writings are written in Spanish.
- The works will be unpublished, understood as such, those originals that have not been awarded in other contests.
- It may be presented a work by modality, short story and poetry, indistinctly. For this, the following modalities are established: First Prize in Poetry; First prize in Narrative or Story Special award for school-age girls, in the form of story or poetry. For the purposes of assessment and qualification, criteria of argumentative creativity, didactics, and informative effectiveness will prevail.
- La maximum length of the stories will be 3 pages. Arial 14 font, minimum 1,5 line spacing.
- El Plazo presentation of the works will end on July 10, 2.016.
- The works must attach the following data or documents (included in an envelope or file): Authorship, Title of work, Photocopy of DNI, Address and Telephone. - The winners will be obliged to attend the award ceremony, except justification of force majeure duly accredited and valued by the jury, in which case another person will be appointed to collect it.
- The prizes will consist of 500 euros per modality, short story and poetry. The local prize for school-age girls will be made up of computer equipment (valued at 500 euros).

- All students may participate in the "Vargas Llosa" Novel Prize organized by the University of Murcia, the Caja Mediterráneo Foundation and the Vargas Llosa Chair. Spanish or foreign authors who send their works written in Spanish, with the exception of those who have obtained this Award in previous editions of this contest.
- The works of free theme, they must be unpublished, and they must not have been published in whole or in part, nor have they been awarded in any other contest, contest or literary activity, not only on the date of admission to the contest, but at the time of the proclamation of the decision, each participant must send a copy of the work.
