On the website of the White House, yes, that of President Barack Obama, they have revealed what they are the books that the current president has read throughout this summer, announcing five quite varied options that are described below.

Barbarian Days: A Suffering Life by William Finnegan

The first book to top the list is Barbarian Days: A Suffering Life, a book published in July 2015 by Penguin Press and which has 464 pages not currently in Spanish. This book is based on surfing with the discussion of the author's addiction to sports.

The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead

Although three of the author's books have been translated, the one that is second on the president's list is not yet in Spanish. This may be because the book was published on August 2. This book offers us a magnificent tour of the Adventures of a slave desperately trying to escape the prewar southern.

H for Hawk by Helen MacDonald

The third book on the list has been available in Spanish for a year. It shows how the author herself, after the death of her father, decides to buy and train a falcon, taking a journey of exploration that will lead to a change in your life.

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

It is possible that the fourth book on the list is currently the best known due to the great boom that its launch had. As many of you already know, this book shows a traveler who ends up entangled in the case of a missing person.

Seveneves by Neal Stepheson

The last book on the list was published a couple of months ago by the Nova publishing house. In this case it is a book of science fiction where it shows a reflection on how humanity would live if the world were coming to an end.

These five books are the reading choices of the current president of the United States, 5 works very different from each other and that show a variety that goes from science fiction to almost autobiographies.

Hello, I do not know that book "The Circle of Fire" by Mariane Curley, nor the author. I recently wrote a story, not yet published, which happens to be called "Circle of Fire." Could that lead me to a copyright problem if it were to be published?

Hello José Antonio. I don't think there is a problem because there is a wide variety of novels with the same name and nothing has ever happened. If the books, or stories in your case, are not very similar to others in content, there is no problem.

      Greetings.
