Antonio Machado died today in 1939 in the French exile of Collioure. Representative of the Modernism and that 98 Generation, was - and still is - one of the most relevant and famous poetic voices of our country. In his verses, which we have all recited at one time or another, he cultivated from the love, the religion, the social and political criticism and the Human nature with all its contradictions. The time goes by, the feeling and reality y reflection on the Spain of its time are also in his work and remain in force currently. Today I choose 30 of his phrases to remember it.
