The narrative of these three comics progresses at a pace considerably fast, motivated largely by the urgency of wrapping up a story that, it seems, could have been developed over a longer period. One of the greatest successes of X Force 2 It's the potential that sometimes goes untapped: the interaction between the cast members and the internal tension reveal interesting ideas that, due to lack of space, aren't fully developed. Furthermore, the short conclusion to the plot diminishes the depth of the threats and makes it difficult to create memorable antagonists.
Visually, the stylistic differences between the artists become apparent as the book progresses, but the reading experience remains fluid and engaging for those looking for uncomplicated superhero action.
