We are already in December. Another year is coming to an end (and may there be many more). A lot of books have been published, good, bad and regular, as usual, but there are a few that have just come out or are released in this last month of the year. Today I bring 4 for the youngest readers and the most cinephiles. They sure can like them. To be closing.
Nur and Olentzero - Toti Martínez de Lezea
We know Toti Martínez de Lezea (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1949) for being a great writer of historical novel, but it also has this children's book series whose protagonist is Nur. Go one dozen of titles and now is your new adventure that can be enjoyed for these dates to come. It is illustrated by Iván Landa.
And what is it about? Well Nur has written a letter to Olentzero where he asks for a silver scooter, but there is still a lot left and the day is long. So, while they wait, Aitite and Nur set up the Christmas tree. Then Nur goes to meet her cousins Lucia and Sara and their friends and each one has asked Olentzero for a gift. When Nur comes in addition wants to ask you where you live and if you can go visit him.
The best Christmas present - Noa Herrera Martínez
And if we are with stories for children, how can we not bring this little Ten-year-old author and illustrator from Seville What is called Noa Herrera Martínez? The editorial Babidi-bu, specialized in children's and youth literature, brings us this story of a girl who wanted one thing more than anything in the world. So, although sometimes it is difficult for our wishes to be fulfilled, we must never lose hope. Everything can change, as it changed her, albeit with a little help from someone very special.
