The so-called urban art (or street art) is an artistic trend considered illegal in its entirety until not many years ago. However, the admiration that it has aroused in the public and its promotion of culture in many of its cases have reinvented the many prejudices poured into an art considered dirty and marginal.
And the graffiti culture, as we might consider it at first, it is now called post-graffiti for those who have turned this art into another urban attraction, as shown by the works that appear in strategic locations such as the Berlin Wall or San Francisco's Mission District. In turn, giants like Google have echoed the appeal of this art including a review of the best samples of urban art in the world through their Street art project.
Works that go beyond the vandalism doodle of a rebellious teenager to become attractions of alternative art galleries, sometimes with solidarity intentions, others as a unique form of expression or even as a way of paying homage to the world of books.
These 12 street art samples inspired by literature they will become a real discovery for those who respect any form of art and, above all, adore letters.

These 12 street art samples inspired by literature it becomes one of our most visual posts and the best way to discover the most pictorial (and perhaps somewhat hooligan) side of some universal works whose possibilities regarding street art can be infinite.
Which of these samples did you like the most?
Do you think urban art contributes something different or should it continue to be considered illegal?
Hello Alberto.
The graffiti are very good, a pass. The ones I like the most are Harry Potter, Gabriel García Márquez, Game of Thrones, Moby Dick and Don Quixote. Above all, those of Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Moby Dick are spectacular for the visual effect they produce.
Thank you for letting us know and enjoy these works of art.
On the other hand, of course urban art brings something different. It should not be considered illegal. Although I also understand that you cannot paint anywhere, no matter how artistic the drawing is. Appropriate spaces must be provided for this.
A literary greeting from Oviedo.
Hello, namesake
The truth is that they are quite cool and yes, they should enable more places for these artists. Thanks for your opinion. Greetings!
On urban art, communication and creativity, I suggest getting to know the musical piece «En la pared» with lyrics by Jorge Padula Perkins and music by Rodrigo U. Stottuth, in original version by Stottuth himself on piano and the voice of Nery González Artunduaga https://youtu.be/AlKYIRW5SB0
